The reason it exists is that most of Manotick runs on infrastructure city directories ignore. Wells, septic systems, propane, driveways measured in hundreds of feet. A quote priced from a suburban baseline does not survive contact with a one-acre lot, and finding trades who genuinely work out here used to mean asking a neighbour.
