Doctors, dentists, pharmacy and vets in Greely

Health care in Greely, Ontario, in one place: the two family practices and the appointment-only "walk-in" in the Village Centre, the dentists, the optometrist, the pharmacy and its hours, physio and the home-based practitioners, the vet and the kennel — and the numbers for what the village does not have: emergency, hospital, lab, late pharmacy. Read from each practice's own published details; phone before you go. Nothing here is paid for, and none of it is medical advice.

Doctors — and what "walk-in" means here

Greely has two family-medicine practices, both now in Suite 205 of the Greely Village Centre, 6045 Bank Street. The Greely Walk-In keeps the name but has not been a walk-in since the pandemic: it runs by appointment only, with slots opening online 72 hours ahead, Monday mornings and Tuesday to Friday 9 to 4, under Dr. Michele-Renee Byham and Dr. Shaun Vaid, and it has a separate booking path for people without a family doctor. Greely Village Medical Centre — Dr. Louis O'Connell's practice, long known as Greely Family Medicine Centre on Ellsworth Lane — appears in current listings at the same suite with its old phone number; the Ellsworth Lane building has a new tenant, so phone before you drive. Dr. Patricia Toomey, an obstetrician-gynaecologist with privileges at Winchester District Memorial, consults from the same suite on referral. There is no true walk-in clinic in Greely, Manotick or Metcalfe; for same-day care without an appointment the choices are Findlay Creek and Riverside South, or Health811 by phone.

Dentists

Two dental offices, both in the Village Centre and both saying they take new patients. Sunset Dental Centre (Drs Robert Liu and Haytham Elfawal) does general and cosmetic dentistry with a focus on implants, clear aligners, sedation and emergencies, and opens until 7 on Mondays. Metcalfe Family Dental's Greely office on Village Centre Place — the name is the sister office's, the building is in Greely — opens at 7:30 and does same-day ceramic crowns. Manotick's dentists are on the Manotick medical page.

Eyes, pharmacy, physio and the rest

Greely Optometry on Village Centre Place has two optometrists (Drs Michelle Davidson and Nathalie Renaud) and the village's only registered optician, so eye exams, contact lenses, myopia control and glasses are all done in one building; it is closed Saturday to Monday. Greely Pharmasave is the pharmacy — independent, with vaccines, minor-ailment prescribing and free local delivery — and it closes at 7 pm on weekdays and 4 on Saturdays; after that, the nearest late pharmacies are the Shoppers in Manotick and Findlay Creek (both to 10 pm) and the 24-hour Shoppers at South Keys. Cooper Physiotherapy, in Greely since long before the plaza, opens at 6:30 am and does physio, pelvic health, massage therapy, dry needling and orthotics. Beyond the plaza the practices are home-based and by appointment: Dawdy Naturopathic Clinic on Sunset Boulevard, 613 Physio's mobile and pop-up service, McIntosh Chiropractic (the only chiropractor in the village; address on booking), and Gwen Preston's virtual psychotherapy practice. The one registered massage therapist working from home in Greely, MRL Massage Therapy, is not taking new patients.

Vets and pets

Greely Animal Hospital on Parkway Road is the village's only veterinary clinic — a small-animal practice with no website and hours that differ between directories (Tuesday to Friday, possibly Saturday mornings), so phone. It is not open overnight; the nearest 24-hour emergency hospital is Alta Vista Specialty & Emergency on Walkley Road, about 20 km north, and the Manotick pets page lists the other after-hours options. Beds for Tails, a family-run kennel on three acres on Bank Street since 2007, is the village's boarding, daycare and grooming — the only groomer in Greely — and Shield K9 Ottawa trains dogs from the same site. Barilla Kennels, just over the line in Metcalfe, is the other boarding option. Pet supplies are at Pet Valu in the plaza.

Drive times are from Bank and Parkway in normal traffic. In an emergency call 911; Ottawa Paramedic Service covers Greely.

manotick.co is a directory, not a party to any work or visit. Every number goes straight to the business; hours, prices and whether they are taking new customers change, so phone before you drive. Nothing on this page is paid for, and a listing is not an endorsement — what a listing means. Wrong or out of date? hello@manotick.co.

Addresses, phones and hours were read from each business's own site or its current directory listing on 21 September 2026 and have not yet been confirmed by phone. Greely listings drift more than most: the plaza is new and several businesses moved into it from Meadow Drive and Ellsworth Lane.
